Last weekend, Lyft celebrated launches in three new regions with free rides, mustache parades, and fistbumps aplenty. Please join us in warmly welcoming California’s own Napa and Sonoma Valleys, Stockton, and Bakersfield to the Lyft family!
In Napa and Sonoma, both locals and visitors now have a new safe, affordable transportation option to help them travel between wineries or breweries with friends during the day, or commute to a midday meeting across town.
Seventy miles east, Lyft has also landed in Stockton, whse active, social residents can now tap their phones to request a reliable and friendly ride between campus and the nightlife on The Miracle Mile, or home from water sports on the Delta.
Finally, we say hello to Bakersfield, one of the fastest-growing cities in California. The founding drivers in Bakersfield, which include a personal banker and a restaurant manager, are all eager to help the city maintain its community roots by connecting with fellow residents through Lyft, and have now brought pink mustaches to Kern County to do just that.
We’re celebrating the hat trick with Lyft Pioneer in each of these new cities — meaning two weeks of free rides to all new passengers who want to give Lyft a try. Just download the app to join the Lyft community!
