Comin’ in Hot: New Citywide Prices in SF

San Francisco, get ready to ride. We’re rolling out citywide price caps for Lyft Line so you always have the most affordable ride. For a limited time, all Line rides taken north of Cesar Chavez St. and Sloat Blvd. are capped.

These new price caps mean you never pay more than $6 for rides east of Stanyan St., and no more than $12 everywhere else — even during Prime Time. We’re talking the Sunset, Richmond, Presidio, Marina, Forest Knolls, Twin Peaks, Cole Valley, Mission, SoMa, NoPa… we think you get the picture.

Leading up to this, we spent the months testing HotSpots, pickup zones that unlocked discounted Lyft Line rides. Today, we’re expanding the pricing goodness of HotSpots to even more of San Francisco.

Like summer, this won’t last forever, so get going and we’ll see you on the road.

Valid for single-passenger Lyft Line rides only. $1 will be added for each additional rider. To qualify for $6 cap, rides must originate and end east of Stanyan St. and north of Cesar Chavez St. To qualify for $12 cap, rides must originate and end north of Sloat Blvd. and Cesar Chavez St. Limited time only. Subject to Lyft’s Terms of Service.
