Boston: Your Back-to-School Survival Guide

Boston: Your Back-to-School Survival Guide

Back-to-school season is upon us! To make sure you start the year off right, we’ve gathered the top tips you need to know for a picture-perfect school year in the city.

GO DO

Boston Calling Music Festival is returning for the second time this year with headliners like Alt-J, The Avett Brothers, and Chromeo. The festival takes place the last weekend of September in City Hall Plaza and is guaranteed to be the hottest ticket in town.

GO SEE

One of the best art collections in the country is at the Museum of Fine Arts — and you can see it for free. Put your wallet away and head on over Wednesdays after 4:00 p.m. for free admission.

BE IN-THE-KNOW

Not a Boston native? Make sure you know the “T” stops operating at 1:30 a.m. on weekdays, and 2:00 a.m. on weekends. Arrange alternate transportation or request a Lyft ride if you’re out on the town later than that.

Lyft will be on campus at Boston College, Boston University, Harvard University, and Northeastern University the week of September 7th, so look out for the Lyft bus giving away fun swag and ride credits! To follow all the back-to-school adventures, add Lyft on Snapchat.
