It’s that time of the year when thrills, chills and scary fun take over the city. From holiday celebrations to costume contests and haunted mazes, LA has great options for group fun.
Many of the Halloween events are happening at the end of the month, giving procrastinators a few more weeks to finalize costumes.
Here are some great events to check out:
Head to Griffith Park throughout the month to experience a thrilling, dark hayride with this year’s theme, Secret Society. As the Haunted Hayride’s official rideshare partner, we're offering $50 in Lyft ride credit to all new passengers with code LAHH.
Happening on October 29th, Angelenos can head to Hollywood Forever Cemetery for a grand celebration. Costume contests, dancing and music performances will happen throughout the day, noon to midnight.
Known as the largest Halloween street party in the world, head to WeHo for a complete Halloween celebration on October 31st. Expect glitter, insanely creative costumes, and good old fashioned rowdy fun.
No one knows dark fantasy better than Tim Burton. Musicians will take the stage at the Hollywood Bowl and sing live as the film plays in the background on the main stage.
This family-friendly event features thousands of hand-carved, artist-designed pumpkins on display. Rumor has it that artists spend 10-15 hours per pumpkin!
Yes, zombie crawls are still a thing. On October 29th, zombies are hitting the beach in Santa Monica as participating bars offer select drink specials.
At this year’s event, attendees can expect to wind through seven mazes that feature installments from some of Halloween’s scariest entertainment properties, like American Horror Story and The Exorcist.
