Who doesn’t want to celebrate Thanksgiving with a tasty meal? Atlanta boasts some delicious restaurants that are whipping up fantastic menus this season. For those of us who would rather spend our time eating than cooking, here are the places to go in Atlanta for a Thanksgiving feast:
Ray’s on the River - Ray’s is offering an all day Thanksgiving buffet. If you're an early bird you can expect to see brunch classics like French toast, eggs Benedict, and biscuits and gravy. As the day continues they will be pulling out all of the stops with their roasted turkey, grilled salmon, and herb roasted prime rib complete with all of the sides you could imagine. It is truly going to be a holiday feast!
Diesel - The kitchen at Diesel is actually closed for the holiday, but the bar is open and they welcome anyone who brings something to share for their annual Thanksgiving potluck. Enjoy a meal with some of Diesel’s neighbors and try out all kinds of fun homemade dishes. We’ve heard there's everything from fried catfish to bacon macaroni pie.
South City Kitchen - This Midtown staple is serving up a beautiful three course meal for Thanksgiving this year. A southern-style spread complete with fried green tomatoes, shrimp and grits, and chocolate pecan pie will please anyone dining out for the holidays. Take a peek at their mouthwatering menu and daydream about all the yummy options you could choose from!
Peachtree Diner - Peachtree Diner will be serving classic ham and turkey Thanksgiving dinners with all of the trimmings. If you love the traditional holiday dishes this is certainly the place for you. Rainbow trout and leg of lamb are also on the menu, if you're feeling a tad more adventurous.
The Sun Dial - Not only does this spot have one of the best views of Atlanta, it is also offering up a scrumptious special Thanksgiving menu! Prepare to be dazzled by these expertly crafted dishes. If you want to make this holiday a truly special experience, this is the place to do it!
The Shed at Glenwood - Here's another opportunity to sample different Thanksgiving dishes to your heart’s content. This buffet will include all of the classics and some southern favorites to give you a taste of home.
