NYC Pride 2016

NYC Pride 2016

This year, PrideFest will be celebrating its 23rd year. PrideFest kicks off on June 26th in the West Village but there are plenty of activities before and after the parade. Wondering how to best celebrate Pride in style? Check out our NYC Pride Guide:

June 19th - Pride Luminaries Brunch

The Pride Luminaries Brunch celebrates business leaders that have made an impact on LGBT equality in the workplace throughout the year.

June 20th - Out Cinema

Take pride in this uplifting documentary that follows the seven male dancers featured on the tour and in Truth or Dare, who found the courage to shine while staying true to who they are.

June 21st - Family Movie Night

Enjoy a family-friendly flick, appropriate for all ages, while lounging under the stars on Hudson River Park's Pier 63. This year's film is the Disney-Pixar classic Toy Story.

June 24th - The Rally

The first NYC Pride Rally occurred one month after the Stonewall Riots in June 1969, when 500 people gathered for a "Gay Power" demonstration in Washington Square Park, followed by a candlelight vigil in Sheridan Square. NYC Pride has continued this proud tradition by hosting the event in various locations throughout the city.

June 25th - WE Party: Graffiti

The official Saturday night event of NYC Pride returns as Masterbeat once again transforms the legendary Hammerstein Ballroom into NYC's biggest mega-club for WE Party: Graffiti with world famous production featuring thundering concert sound, hundreds of moving lights and lasers, and a theatrical production showcasing the hottest dancers and performers in the world.

June 26th - PrideFest

PrideFest is the annual LGBT street fair that combines vendors, entertainers and activities for a day of fun and celebration in the name of equality. Catch us on our float!
