Celebrate 4th Of July In The Bay

Celebrate 4th Of July In The Bay

There's nothing more American than ending your Independence Day with fireworks lighting up the night sky. Celebrate with us this weekend and check out some our favorite fireworks shows around the Bay Area.

San Francisco

Pier 39: As one of the nation's top 10 places to celebrate 4th of July, Pier 39 is one for the books. The fireworks start at 9:30 PM and take place over the water with '180 degree Bay views' in the background. Tip: Avoid the Pier crowd and watch the show with a front row view on a 4th of July cruise.

North Bay

Marin County Fair: Marin County understands that some of us have work on Tuesday and can't be out late celebrating on Monday night. That's why they've got fireworks all weekend! Enjoy the firework spectacular every night at 9:30 PM from June 30th to July 4th.

East Bay

Alameda County Fair: The Alameda County Fair runs from June 15th to July 4th and will end with a fireworks show that promises to be bigger and better than ever, set to music played by the Oakland Symphony. The show starts at 9:30 PM and will include a video tribute to hometown heroes. Tip: Catch the best view with seats at the Budweiser Grandstand.

Foster City: Foster City's 4th of July celebration will end the night with a fireworks display over the lagoon. Join the locals out on the water with a standup board, kayak, or boat and watch the show take place over head at 9:30PM. Important note: While this isn't about fireworks, we feel it's important to mention that there will also be a pancake breakfast at 9:00 AM. #Priorities.

South Bay

Great America: Is it just us or does celebrating America at Great America sound like a no brainer? Hop on a roller coaster and turn your head to the sky at 9:50 PM for a patriotic firework show. To help celebrate, all military personnel (past and present with ID) will be admitted for free with up to 6 guests for $19.99 each.

Wherever you go, remember to celebrate safely and responsibly. And keep Lyft in mind to get you home at the end of the night. Happy 4th of July, Bay Area!
