Celebrating St. Patrick's Weekend in San Diego

St. Patrick’s Day 2017 falls on a weekend this year, which means one thing: plan to wear a ton of green! Check out San Diego’s top St. Patrick's Day destinations based on last year's drop-off data:

The Field Irish Pub

Experience true Irish culture by visiting the Field Irish Pub in San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter. Start your festivities off right with food in your belly with Irish favorites like shepherd’s pie, corned beef and cabbage, and fish and chips. Pair it off with a pint of Guinness, signature cocktail, or some of Ireland’s finest whiskey.

True North Tavern

Come enjoy St. Patrick’s Day in a unique atmosphere! Just off North Park’s bustling University Ave., True North Tavern would be a top pick for any local or visitor with two full-service bars, two outdoor patios, pool tables, 30 taps, and a line of DJs playing all night long.

McFadden's San Diego

McFadden’s is one of San Diego’s #1 spots for St. Patrick’s Day celebrations and festivities. Come celebrate at McFadden's San Diego and enjoy kegs and eggs in the morning, live music, and green beer all day, and maybe even spot a leprechaun or two in the evening.

Urban MO's Bar & Grill

On Friday, Urban Mo's is hosting MO's Big Luck Party. Here are four reasons you should go to MO’s: green draft beer specials all day, corn beef and cabbage dinner specials, DJ Jon Williams on deck, and $5 cover after 7 PM. Plus, if you join the party after 7 PM, you’ll get a raffle ticket for a chance to win green (in $25 gift cards) as one winner will be called out every hour starting at 8 PM.

Backyard Kitchen & Tap

No surprise that Backyard Kitchen & Tap in Pacific Beach is on our list for St. Paddy’s day, as they were voted #1 Most Visited Restaurant for our Lyftie Awards this past year. Don’t miss out on the St. Paddy’s Day fun at Backyard this year and enjoy a great craft cocktail with your pals!

As always, we wish you a fun weekend and remember to request a Lyft home. Stay safe and happy Saint Patrick’s Day from the San Diego team!
