Meet Eddie, one of Denver’s five-star Lyft drivers. He’s a small business owner who drives with Lyft in his spare time, and has plenty of stories and advice to tell.
Eddie opened his small business, Line and Leather, last July and started driving with Lyft shortly thereafter. Line and Leather creates nautical-themed jewelry, inspired by fashion Eddie noticed on a recent trip to Amsterdam. Outside of unique bracelet designs, Line and Leather also gives back to the community. Part of every sale is donated to one of a number of disabled veterans organizations. Giving back to veterans was a simple choice for Eddie — he is one. Eddie served in the Army as an infantry officer for three years and knows firsthand that this group needs support.
Besides running his company and giving back to the community, Eddie also enjoys getting to know new people, which is one of his favorite things about driving with Lyft. “I’ve met people I would have never met,” he says. In fact, many of his close friends are people he met in Lyft rides.
What have all of Eddie’s experiences taught him? This advice: “There is nothing in this world that is worth getting mad or frustrated over. Keep moving forward and find another adventure.”
