1. Vans US Open of Surfing

The Vans US Open of Surfing celebrates the surfing lifestyle and culture over a 9-day span. The family friendly event takes place in “Surf City USA” and will feature surf competitions, art installations, music concerts and a variety of other fun activities. Vans US Open of Surfing takes place at Huntington State Beach from July 29 to August 6.

2. D23

D23 is “The Ultimate Disney Fan Event” and the place to be if you are a Disney enthusiast. This year’s event includes festivities such as the always popular masquerade costume competition, a one of a kind fan street party, and an 80th anniversary screening of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. D23 will take place at the Anaheim Convention Center from July 14 to July 16.

3. OC Fair

The annual OC Fair is a 23-day festival and one of Orange County’s most popular events of the year. The fair features rides, shopping, food, nightly entertainment, animals and action sports events. The OC Fair takes place every Wednesday through Sunday at the OC Fair & Events Center from July 14 - August 13.  

4. OC Night Market

The OC Night Market is an annual event that was inspired by the night markets in Asia. The event includes some of the best and unique foods (like frosted ramen donuts!) all in one area as well as a variety of nightly entertainment. The OC Night Market takes place at the OC Fair & Events Center from August 26-28.

5. The Bungalow

In just over a year since opening, The Bungalow has become the premier destination to hang out in Orange County. This California beach house inspired venue that overlooks the Pacific Ocean is the perfect place to spend your summer days and nights. The Bungalow is located within the Pacific City shopping center in Huntington Beach.
