Lyft Joins Forces with the 100 Hours Campaign to Cut LA Congestion

Did you know Angelenos spend roughly 100 hours per year sitting in traffic? That isn’t good for the environment or good for your sanity, which is why we’re partnering with the Southern California Association of Governments and their 100 Hours Campaign to help get the LA region moving again.

The 405, the 5, and the 10: these highways have made LA and its congestion infamous. At Lyft, we think there’s a better way to get around, whether it’s hopping in a Lyft Line to get to work, or connecting to the nearest transit stop to take you the rest of the way. Think of all of the things you could do if you aren’t behind the wheel — call a friend, do work, read a book, meet a new friend in your Lyft Line ride, research the next hottest restaurant in LA, or keep your eyes out for celebrity sightings.

Join us in getting serious about finding real solutions to LA’s traffic woes. We’re celebrating this campaign with discounted Lyft Line rides to help get people out of their cars and driving alone. Simply enter code 100HOURSLA into the ‘Promos’ section of your app (or follow the link below) and receive 20% off two weekday Line rides.* Read more at 100hoursla.com.

*From Monday, September 18, 2017 to Wednesday, October 18, 2017, Lyft will provide users 20% off two Lyft Line rides, up to $5 each ride, when they use the code “100HOURSLA”. The code is valid Monday through Friday, from 7 AM to 6 PM and is only available while supplies last.
