Childhood illnesses touch the lives of many families across the Southwest. Within five years, 1 in 4 Arizona children will have received care from a Phoenix Children’s provider.
When it comes to improving the well-being of children throughout the Southwest, you can make a difference starting on July 31st by tapping Round Up & Donate in the Lyft app to sit for children’s health. Donations will go directly to Phoenix-based Phoenix Children’s Hospital, supporting a wide range of pediatric programs, including research, patient care, family support, medical education, and more. Phoenix Children's has provided hope, healing, and the best health care for children and families since 1983.
“Lyft passengers in Phoenix have been generous contributors to Round Up & Donate since the program started,” said Drena Kusari, Lyft Southwest General Manager. “We’re excited that we can now offer them the option to direct their donations to an organization in our very own backyard, and thrilled to do it with Phoenix Children’s.”
Help fund clinical care, vital research, patient-enriching programs, and community outreach efforts by going to ‘Settings’ in your app, tap ‘Round Up & Donate,’ choose Phoenix Children’s as your cause, then take a ride. Opt-in once and Lyft will automatically round up your future fares to the nearest dollar and donate the difference.
Phoenicians are some of the most generous contributors to Round Up and Donate, and we’re excited to join forces with Phoenix Children’s as one of the first locally based partners in the program’s history.
So, go ahead: Hit the button. Providing life-saving care is hard, but you can help our community’s sickest kids.
