We’re excited to announce that Lyft is continuing to expand our work reducing transportation barriers through a local partnership with Ronald McDonald House® New York, a charity that provides temporary housing for pediatric cancer patients and their families from around the world, equating to over 35,000 family night stays annually.
For many of these families, transportation options are limited. In order to give back to the local community, we will provide a $10 donation to the House for each new user who enters the Ronald McDonald House® New York code NYHERO18 into their app. The House will use the monetary donation to help its patients and their families travel to and from their doctors’ appointments at the top cancer care centers in New York City.
