Help During the Flooding in Ottawa

In response to the flooding in Ottawa, Lyft is committed to doing our part to help the community.

We’re activating our Wheels for All program to help people in need and volunteers who are looking to help with flood preparation efforts get to Emergency Community Support and Volunteer Centres.

With the code YOWRELIEF419, we’re offering free rides* to the city’s emergency community support centres and volunteering centres:

    • Pinecrest Recreation Complex - Barbara Ann Scott Arena, 2250 Torquay Avenue

    • Cumberland Heritage Village Museum, 2940 Old Montreal Road

    • Ron Kolbus Centre, 102 Greenview Drive (upper parking lot)

More information on the centres and the City of Ottawa’s emergency response plan is here.

As safety is our number one priority, we continue to monitor the conditions and communicate with drivers, riders, and government officials. If road conditions become unsafe, we will always prioritize the safety of our drivers. As always, we look forward to providing rides to those who need them.

*Valid for two rides up to $15 each, between 9am and 7pm on Friday, April 26 - Sunday April 28, 2019.
