In response to Hurricane Barry, Lyft is committed to doing our part to help those in need. We’re activating our Wheels For All program to help people move around after the hurricane.
In Baton Rouge and Lafayette, we’re partnering with Louisiana United Ways and 211. Those recovering from the hurricane can dial 211 to receive a ride code for free transportation in Baton Rouge and Lafayette. Valid for two rides up to $25 each between now and July 16 at 11:59 p.m. CST.
Safety is fundamental to Lyft and we will continue to monitor the conditions and communicate with Lyft drivers, riders and government officials. As always, we look forward to providing rides to those who need them.
Our hearts go out to those impacted by Hurricane Barry.
