Happy Anniversary, Atlanta

Happy Anniversary, Atlanta

August 28 marked Lyft’s three year anniversary in the wonderful city of Atlanta. To celebrate this milestone, we invited our drivers a ‘Lyftiversary’ party at Andretti Indoor Karting and Games Marietta. You haven’t seen competitive go-karting until you see a group of Lyft drivers behind the wheel! A huge thank you to all the drivers who came out and celebrated with us.

Before we continue to blaze the trail for years to come, we're reflecting on the past year and some of our extraordinary drivers that have made Lyft Atlanta what we are today.

Since we hit the ground riding in 2013, drivers have dedicated time and effort to Lyft and the city. We’ve grown in passengers, drivers, and coverage area — and we’re not stopping anytime soon!

Here are three of the many Lyft Atlanta drivers who have clocked over 2,000 rides.

Samantha is originally from Chicago and has given over 2,300 rides! Samantha enjoys how Lyft helps her to help others. She loves coming out to Lyft events — and totally rocks the Lyft snapback.

We're incredibly proud of the past three years and are looking forward to the future. Our general manager, Sam Bond, said it best: “With every week, more and more people in Atlanta choose to become part of the Lyft community, and as exciting as our start to the year has been, our biggest strides towards improving everyday life in Atlanta are still ahead of us."

Cheers to three years and many more to come!
