Lyft Welcomes VP Product, VP Partnerships

We love seeing new faces around the Lyft office. Last month, we welcomed Kira Wampler (CMO) and Brian Roberts (CFO), and this week, we’re excited to announce two new VPs to Lyft’s rapidly-growing leadership team: Tali Rapaport, VP of Product, and Oliver Hsiang, VP of Partnerships.

Tali joins Lyft from Groupon, where she served as Director of Product Development. During her time at Groupon, her team launched some of the company’s most high profile products, such as Specials and Follow. Tali was also responsible for the gifting products at Groupon. She joined Groupon through the acquisition of Plumfare, a gifting company where she was co-founder and CEO starting in 2011. Tali has worked with a variety of e-commerce leaders throughout her career, including, Gilt Groupe and Seatwave. She received her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Harvard in Applied Math and Engineering. As VP of Product at Lyft, Tali leads the Product and Product Design teams that drive the experience for people who use Lyft, drivers, and passengers alike.

Oliver joins Lyft as VP of Partnerships with over 15 years of experience driving user growth, engagement, revenue, and product enablement through partnerships for leading companies such as LinkedIn, StumbleUpon, Google, and Yahoo. Most recently at LinkedIn, Oliver directed the team responsible for strategic partnerships and spearheaded the launch of deep product integrations with partners such as Samsung and Evernote. At Lyft, Oliver will lead the Business Development team in uncovering partnership opportunities with mission-affirming brands to help strategically expand the Lyft community through user acquisition and engagement.

As we look ahead to another momentous year, we’re thrilled to have leaders like Tali and Oliver on board to help bring Lyft closer toward our vision of reconnecting people and communities through better transportation.
